Hey! I don't know if you'll ever get this! This is Michelle from Damsel in this Dress. I made the hat on my blog, and I, too, had been looking for them for about a year, and couldn't find one that I liked. Finally, I bought one, tore it apart to see how it was made, and then made some for myself. They're actually quite a lot of work and a lot of hand-stitching. I can definately see why they would be $100 dollars, at least if the person wants to make any money for their time. I have no idea what I would charge, but they are swell!!!
Thanks for the lovely comment today on my hats. I must admit though that the idea first struck me because of Lady Linoleum over at Monster Crochet. She made a crochetted one that was to die for and well things have just evolved from that Halloween 2 years ago to where my hats are now. Thanks though, can't wait to see what you're coming up with. cheers
